College Internships
Lam’s internship opportunities offer summer and/or co-op employment for students. These provide hands-on business experiences that complement your academic studies and prepare you for real-world situations. As an intern at
Lam Research, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals on career-related projects in a variety of settings. Each internship is project-based, with a special focus on learning and development, and provides an excellent opportunity for acceptance into the New College Graduates (NCG) program.
Current college students who are interested in applying for an internship with Lam Research must first meet the following requirements:
• Currently enrolled with an outstanding academic record (full time enrollment desirable)
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in engineering, science, or a business-related field.

New College Graduates
If you are a recent graduate with a desire to begin your career in the semiconductor industry, you will find exciting career paths and unique opportunities for growth within
Lam Research. Our NCG program was designed to get you started on the right career path while enabling you to work closely with some of the most talented people in the industry. We combine educational training with hands-on opportunities to bring new graduates like you the challenging, dynamic experiences that will enable your future successes.
At Lam Research, an NCG is someone who recently earned a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree and whose values are consistent with Lam’s Core Values. To be considered for the program, NCGs must be hired within 24 months of graduation and have an outstanding academic record. Junior Military Officers (JMOs) are also eligible for this program. Typically, to qualify for the NCG program, you must hold a degree in one or more of the following subjects:
