Job Responsibilities

Lam Research is looking for a Design Manager for our APAC region. Reporting into the Brand, Editorial, and Social Impact team, this role will be responsible for graphic design and production support across APAC. This role requires a strong self-starter who can quickly and effectively network with key stakeholders to design and develop engaging visuals, manage internal and external media resources, lead and advise internal and external design teams and drive measurable outcomes.  

 

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Graphic design of varying asset types, including but not limited to, ads, illustrations, banners, brochures, reports, templates, and other visual materials in support of key brand moments and channels.
  • Bring insights into various regional differences and cultural nuances to design and production principles across multiple countries.
  • Work with key stakeholders to build, refine and execute design plans from the ground up to reach the right audiences with the right messages, including working with necessary vendors.
  • Drive brand governance and maintain consistency of messaging and brand guidelines across all assets.     
  • Execute according to our strategic plans and proactively create materials that engage with audiences in new and meaningful ways. 
  • Serve as an effective steward of Lam’s culture by engaging effectively across all regions and stakeholders with an appreciation of cultural differences to help us maximize our global voice and influence. 
  • Promote a positive and collaborative working environment where teammates celebrate each other’s successes, share lessons learned, and best practices. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of previous experience working within creative teams, agencies, or in-house at established companies.
  • Understanding and ability to design for multiple cultures and languages.
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Animate, as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Deep knowledge of best practices in design and communications and demonstrated experience creating effective visuals for world class companies and brands. 
  • Creative thinking and willingness to challenge the status quo to deliver the highest possible outcomes for the company. 
  • Comfortable working across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effortlessly manage multiple projects, prioritize deliverables, and act with urgency. 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
