Job Description: Program Manager, Marketing (Job Title: Program/Project Manager 4)

 

Overview

The Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) is one of the fastest growing businesses at Lam, driven by Lam’s strong market share in semiconductor equipment, and the longevity of its systems in mature fabs.

This role will fill a critical need for Marketing Program Management in the Spares Product Line, developing our value-selling capability for the huge portfolio of ~150,000 spare parts. The role is highly cross-functional, focused on interacting with groups throughout CSBG, the regional teams, and the Product Groups, enabling them to understand and sell the value of our Spares.

 

Responsibilities

Marketing Collateral and Region-Fremont Alignment

  • Own the Spares Product Portal, developing and maintaining it as the key communication platform between Fremont and regions, with up-to-date catalogs, collateral, and roadmaps.
  • Be a key contributor and driver of developing and maintaining value-selling collateral for high-value and/or high-volume spare parts, both those that come out of the Product Group’s development process and those that are CSBG-developed
  • Drive quarterly Marketing alignment sessions between Fremont Spares and the regions to ensure alignment on roadmaps, collateral, and market share defense

Pricing Strategy

  • Work with business development to manage the communication and alignment of the new Spares Pricing Strategy with the regions, a major strategic 2019 initiative for Spares.

Product Development and Release (PDR) Process Marketing Requirements

  • Be a key partner with Spares Product Marketing Managers to represent CSBG to the Systems Product groups, partnering with Etch and Deposition Product Groups in program reviews to ensure that Spares delivers and receives the right information from the PDR Process
  • As part of Spares Marketing, develop a detailed picture of Spares Marketing needs from the PDR process

 

 

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM subject and 3+ years Semiconductor Industry experience.
  • Excellent collaborator & communicator, forms cross-functional partnerships to get things done
  • Ability to lay out clear messages and value propositions in clean and concise collateral
  • Strong project management capability, able to track and drive multi-faceted projects forward
  • Reasonable comfort level in Excel, able to take simple analyses and carry them forward

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Familiarity with one or more families of semiconductor equipment, in either deposition or etch
  • Product or technical marketing experience is highly desirable
