The Impact You’ll Make

Join Lam as a Global Planning System Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What You’ll Do

• Support the development and maintenance of global standards for planning processes.

• Assist in the implementation of ERP enhancements and planning tools, collaborating with IT to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

• Perform validations, quality checks, and testing of new functionalities to ensure they meet global standards and are aligned with manufacturing requirements.

• Maintain master data consistency, ensuring the accuracy of planning parameters.

• Develop and refine Power BI dashboards to track metrics related to planning system performance, signal accuracy, and error resolution.

• Work closely with planning, production, logistics, and supply chain teams to identify and address unique site requirements, ensuring alignment with global standards.

• Identify improvement areas in existing processes and assist in the deployment of initiatives.

• Actively contribute to projects providing insights and hands-on support as needed.

• Monitor planning system performance through Power BI dashboards, proactively addressing issues such as MRP inaccuracies, and order processing discrepancies.

• Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues, providing technical support and guidance to local planning teams.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to planning system configurations, workflows, and business rules.

• Support a collaborative environment by developing training materials, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, and promoting best practices.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or related functions in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on global standardization.

• Proficiency in ERP planning modules (e.g., SAP) and experience with planning tools, Kinaxis, or Power BI.

• Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting (e.g., Power BI, Excel).

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in supporting global standardization efforts across multiple manufacturing sites.

• Familiarity with ERP/S4 Hana/Rapid Response and troubleshooting planning system issues in SAP.
