We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious individual to be a part of the leadership team of our Product & Program Management organization at Lam India. As a Product Development and Release (PDR) Program Management leader, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in maintaining our product leadership by managing the development and release process of company’s products and services. The role is highly cross-functional, requiring interaction with Engineering, Material/Supply Chain Management, Product management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Operations, Field Service. It also provides the opportunity of working with the management to influence decision making. The job has high visibility and offers career opportunity with exposure to multiple functions within Lam and Lam’s overall business in general. The role also entails setting up and leading a high-powered team of PDR program managers, setting objectives and KPI for the team and presenting regular updates to management on the progress made and new initiatives driven by the team
What You’ll Do
- Leads people who perform technical program management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of company’s products and services.
- Develop and present program plans to senior management, gain buy in and deliver results.
- Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the program i.e. product/ solution release on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Monitors the program from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
- Manage CFTs with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities to drive to solutions and alignment (with program objective, product release and material cut-in strategies, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and effectivities)
- Hire, coach and mentor people to build a world class team of PDR program managers.
- Define and institutionalize new processes to improve effectiveness, leverage synergies and enable maturity of the organization.
- Be the change agent, driving process excellence, ownership of PDR process, responsiveness to dynamic business environment and leading by example.
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership skills with applicable experience
- Structured Thinking: Logical approach, appropriate framing problems, and conclusions. Focuses on building capabilities across span of control.
- Communication: Clear, concise, and conclusive that shapes senior-leader understanding and draws out specific recommendations and conclusions.
- People Management: Creates a team that continually improves self, business, and function. Sets direction for group and provides compelling vision for the work; establishes a high-performance environment.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong Influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
- Process knowledge in PLM and ERP required
- Other experience that would prove highly valuable: Engineering product development, Product Configuration Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Field Service, Logistics/Spares

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
