Job Responsibilities

Position will be owning, executing & realizing results per allocated Project & contribute to short-term & long-term dept. goals & objectives, major responsibilities include.

  • Understands & attains execution know-how of all Lam business processes, Standards & Compliances, best practices, etc
  • Effectively works in the matrix organization by aligning with all stakeholders without compromising on “Quality, Delivery & Cost (QDC)” to meet dept. goals.
  • Leading & realizing Project or Program commitments in consistent with established business processes & by adhering to all engineering due diligence (dFMEA, DFx – serviceability, reliability, cost).
  • Practical RF engineering design practices such as shielding, power supplies, RF measurements, calibration techniques and signal analysis.
  • Validate design concepts by testing and troubleshooting of components and subassemblies for semiconductor processing equipment
  • Develop Test Plan, conduct testing, final qualification, and integration of new design to the module. Conduct Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.
  • Coaching & Mentoring to enable engineers perform at higher level of Job roles.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Min. of 8+ years’ of product development experience with capital equipment or similar comprising electrical systems of high complexity.
  • Min. of 3 years of experience in RF system design. Good understanding of High-power RF generation, RF distribution and Matching network topologies L, inverse L, T and Pi topologies, transmission lines, RF filters and selection of RF components
  • Experience with electrical control systems, electronics, and High voltage power supply design
  • Prepare and analyze test plans & procedures and possess hands on experience with various test & measuring equipment like Network Analyzer and Spectrum analyzer, RF power meters, Oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills on decision making and problem-solving in the absence of complete or accurate data, while working with team & also contributing to product/process differentiation through innovation

Minimum Qualifications

        Master’s in RF Design / Electrical / Electronics Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.


        Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with minimum 14 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process, equipment’s, standards
  • Familiarity with Plasma Physics, Plasma modeling techniques and plasma diagnostic techniques
  • Experience designing, building and trouble-shooting RF systems.
  • Exposure in using simulation software’s like PSpice, MATLAB and LabView
