Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.

In this role, you will directly contribute to Equipment Intelligence solutions.

Who We’re Looking For

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor / Master’s in Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering
  • Years of Experience:  minimum 7 years of relevant experience

What You’ll Do

 

  • Design, develop & test Embedded systems and electronic circuits for Equipment Intelligence applications.
  • Write, Simulate and debug firmware/software for microcontrollers and other embedded devices.
  • Develop Functional Requirement Specifications for various Electro-Mechanical systems.
  • Selection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Sensors, Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Cables, PCBs etc.
  • Create and Release system level Electrical engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
  • Work on Electrical/Electronics engineering CAD tools for circuit design & simulations.
  • Perform various circuit analyses like De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficient in Low/High Voltage Electronic Circuit design (Analog & Digital) with various circuit analyses.

(Circuit analyses include De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.)

  • Experience in selecting Electronic components & Sensors.
  • Experience with Microcontrollers, Microprocessors and FPGA/CPLD based designs.
  • Hands-on experience in writing firmware/software code using Assembly, Embedded C, C++ and VHDL/Verilog.
  • Must have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation.
  • Familiar with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN and Ethernet.
  • Familiar with Safety standards like - UL 508, IEC 60947, SEMI S22, NFPA79.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with capital equipment or similar (for e.g., Semiconductor, Process industries, Medical instrumentation, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design projects.
  • Very good understanding of Analog/Digital/Power PCB design constraints and applicable standards.
  • Experience in setting up equipment for experimentation and testing in laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge in Engineering Change & Configuration Management Process.
  • Good Communication, Problem Solving and Mentoring skills.
