Job Description    
Manager for Finance process for captive unit of MNC

Primary Activities 

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to enable Geovision strategy
  • Learn and become the SME for the processes that are delivered out of India
  • Implement Finance CoEs after identifying business requirements and skill availability
  • Document and share project learnings for continuous improvements
  • Work on standardization and automation of work.
  • Manage and motivate the team for the expected level of performance and deliverable quality. Manage and resolve team/stakeholder conflicts
  • Coordinate, negotiate and motivate various stakeholders and functional heads in order to establish consensus among cross-functional teams in support of time line and project deliverables.
  • Responsible to lead and deliver end-to-end migration/ maintenance of business processes from our overseas offices while meeting timelines, budget and delivery expectations and mitigating project risks.
  • Provide necessary support during incubation period of new processes
  • Suggest and recommend best practices for various processes being transitioned
  • Independently run review meetings, track and present SLAs
  • Develop, maintain and review dashboards, project progress and reporting in line with the standards of transition methodology, business needs & Organizational requirements.

Required Education and Experience

  • CA or MBA or related professional certification (CPA,CWA, CMA) preferred

Skills and Competencies Needed

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with key emphasis on FP&A and business finance partnerships
  • Stint in manufacturing set-up required and background in costing required
  • Strong financial systems expertise. Familiarity with SAP, BW, Business Objects Planning or similar systems expertise is a requirement.
  • Solutioning Expert - to lead development of As Is and To Be
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • The person must also be driven to continuously identify and implement improvements to processes, analytics and metrics.
  • Must have led few transitions, preferably from NA
  • Trained on Six Sigma Methodology will be additional advantage 
  • Work timings will be overlap with NA for 3-4 hours. Should be open to stretch during Month/Quarter close and Planning cycles and support stakeholders as required.
