The Impact You’ll Make

Join Lam as an IT Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and implementing applications and systems that form the foundation of our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our IT team, you'll contribute your technical assistance and guidance to projects for various systems and infrastructures. Acting as a technical liaison, you'll address complex business problems with automated systems solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving Lam's commitment to innovation and efficiency.

What you will be doing

The IT Site Lead ensures the smooth operation of IT services at a designated site. This includes managing the IT team, overseeing projects, maintaining systems and security, providing technical support, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and in-depth process and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

Leading the Site service delivery team, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.

Work on multiple projects and operational activities both as a lead and team member
Team performance management and career development

Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.

System Maintenance and Security:

Drive IT Operational efficiency, IT Governance, Audit & Compliance – Internal & External

Perform regular system audits and risk assessments.

Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems.

Technical Support:

Drive the team to provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.

Good knowledge of the general IT processes and be able to produce key metrics to drive excellence.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, systems, and configurations.

Prepare and present regular reports to management

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Good leadership and team management skills.

    Excellent project management abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.

    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL) are often preferred.
