What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
Lam Research is looking for a Security Assurance Analyst to join our growing team and help establish an assurance capability. The Security Assurance Analyst will validate that Lam security controls are operating as expected by identifying key controls, testing systems and controls, recommending improvements to protect sensitive data and infrastructure, and ultimately aiming to provide confidence in the effectiveness of security controls across the organization.
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to creating a roadmap for the assurance function.
- Develop and execute plans for controls testing.
- Provide input into controls remediation plans, security policies and standards.
- Report and communicate status and outcomes of testing.
- Support other compliance work and audits such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF and customer audits.
- Contribute to an accurate catalog of controls, control issues and security risks.
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in auditing Information Security.
- One of the following processional certifications is preferred: Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP, GMON.
- A technical understanding of security.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated person that can use their creative and experience-driven analytical skills to solve problems and do analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within a global semiconductor company or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Experience working in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) applications.
- Experience in automating continuous controls assessments.
- Ability to follow a plan and innovative ways to address them
- Strong people and team/relationship building skills, work with cross functional global teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written to a variety of audiences (immediate team, management, other business units).

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
