Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer, Sr. I/II

(OMS & Mfg. Engg. Change Management)

 

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Educational qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering and Management/Aerospace/Automobile

 

Years of Experience: Minimum 3-years of relevant experience

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Create visual instruction for manufacturing assembly using standard ppt template.
  • Interact with Tech writers and Manufacturing engineers to get the required inputs for task execution.
  • Create Operation Method Sheet (OMS) for cabling issues by working closely with cable routing engineer.
  • Support Lam manufacturing by documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
  • Suggest and implement minor design changes to the existing fixture to improve manufacturing efficiency and cost.

 

Mandatory Skills:

 

  • Working level proficiency in releasing Operations Method Sheets/Master Process Documentation/Work Instructions for Mid-complex assembly/Sub-assemblies etc.
  • Proficient in Creo (Pro/E), MS Office (Power Point Presentation) and any of PDM/PLM

tools like Team center.

  • Experience in Mechanical drawings and standards, Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBoM) Management and Engineering Change Management and Release (ECR) process.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in virtual manufacturing/build.
  • Exposure in build readiness and process planning.
  • Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment, Capital Equipment industry and its manufacturing processes.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing assembly process, assembly equipment/aids etc.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) & presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of DFX process (Design for Manufacturability, Cost, Assembly and Serviceability.
