The Group You’ll Be A Part Of
DPG focuses on enabling our customers with premier products and support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive scoping, design, performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes through our support orgs within Lam.
The Impact You’ll Make
As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you're designing and defining cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Your role involves feasibility studies, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging.
In this role, you will directly contribute to the gasbox designs in DPG org.
What You’ll Do
- Primary responsible is to design gasbox assemblies using OEMs (MFC, valves, filter and others) and designed parts (gasline weldments/machined blocks) and release documentation to support build, testing and production. Responsible for full life cycle of gasbox systems from concept to productization including scoping, conceptualization, designing, CAD modelling and analysis, development, and test/validation.
- Communicates as a subject matter expert on high level technical issues and escalations while providing guidance and recommending solutions.
