The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. The Impact You’ll Make

Designs, develops, modifies and integrates computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for the automation of industrial tasks and enhancement of manufacturing, processing or production equipment. Applies advanced electronic control systems, designs and assists in the manufacture of consumer products and in the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines. Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and code user interfaces for robotic systems using JS + React
  • Manage relational and/or non-relational database systems composed of multimodal data
  • Work collaboratively with a team to design, build, test and troubleshoot robotics systems
  • Train other engineers
  • Working with outside vendors/integrators may be needed
  • Work onsite in the lab most of the time
  • Willing to travel several times per year

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking to hire a full stack software developer to join a team building robotic solutions for semiconductor fabrication facilities. This person will lead the design & implementation of user interfaces and data management systems for these robots.  The new-hire will also learn to operate & test robotic systems as part of a cross-functional team.

The candidate should have work experience relevant to full stack software engineering.

The new-hire will need to develop a working technical understanding of Lam etch and dep chamber hardware and processes. This knowledge will be used to work closely with engineering teams to design, create and test robotics systems. The new-hire will need to develop a strong wholistic technical understanding of the robotics product that goes beyond just the software.

 

Qualifications

  • 5 -10 years of academic and/or work experience relevant to full stack software engineering
  • Knowledge of the following languages and frameworks: JavaScript, Python, SQL, React, Django/Flask or other web framework
  • Experience developing web API’s or SDK’s
  • Experience collaborating on software projects using version control, preferably Git
  • Experience with Robotics & Automation Systems is a plus
  • Education in software and hardware is preferred (computer science and mechatronics or similar)
