Job Responsibilities

Serves as the conduit with engineering to ensure Inventory Assessment reporting will be in place prior to Engineering Change Request submittal

Responsible for evaluating Spares material assessment to assure or minimize excess inventory prior to Engineering change submittal and analyses inventory financial impact (Rework Cost, Excess & Obsolete)

Coordinate with internal team for Change order creation and collaborate with the Engg Change Program Managers, Product Manager, Supplier Business Managers and Configuration Engineering to review E&O liability prior to Engineering Change Request submittal

Work with Configuration Engineering and Manufacturing Engineer to set effectivity date for configurable BoM

Coordinate with Remote Factory to update impacted sales orders based on Materials availability

To assess Order BOM and provide Rework instructions to update based on strategy

Assess material availability and Inventory impacts for Engineering Changes in order to assist in establishing effectivity date(s) for config parts by aligning with PSE/CE

Serves as the conduit with Supply Chain and ensures that the material supporting the change will be in place to meet the planned effectivity

Responsible for evaluating material consumption per implementation effectivity date(s) to assure no excess inventory

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Production / Industrial/Electrical/Electronics)
