Eligibility Criteria:

  • Years of Experience:  7+ years of experience in Product Management, and/or Project management and/or Engineering design and/or manufacturing of complex systems
  • Educational qualification: At a minimum hold B.E / B.Tech degree in the field of Mechanical or Industrial or electrical engineering and preferably M.E / M.Tech / MBA – degree.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collect & distill customer requirements for products owned at Lam India
  • Provide guidance to multiple organizations for prioritized, timely & efficient execution of projects
  • Coordinate with Engineering Management on resource allocation, prioritization and project sequencing
  • Coordinate execution of certain elements of product life cycle management such as obsolescence process, Non Standard Request (NSRs), insertion of CIP and management of Product Option Architecture (POA)
  • Responsible for customer notifications, interaction with manufacturing and field support
  • Supports management to achieve performance targets including lead time, cost, on-time delivery
  • Reviews ECR/ECN for business impact, manages financial reserve funds for improvements & enhancements, communicates know issues & resolution plans across customer accounts


Skills required for performing the job:

  • Demonstrated ability to create project plans, optimize resource allocation and prioritize across multiple projects
  • Demonstrates sound business judgement acumen, with an ability to analyze business cases, analyze and optimize financial impact
  • Demonstrated skill in decision making and problem solving in the absence of complete or accurate data, with a bias towards action
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, both to various organizations within the company and customer facing sales team across multiple geographical locations


Other Desirable Skills and eligible criteria:

  • Experience in semiconductor, solar and other capital equipment industry
  • Experience in engineering product development projects, preferably across multiple geographies
  • Certification and/or degree in business management
