The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

 

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for [insert group or strategic initiative]. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Programs manage all the existing backlog Obsolescence Problem report (PR) of Reliant deposition OBPRs in coordination with Product Management, Engineering, OB Engineering service team and Supply chain.
  • Review the Problem report of the obsolescence issue notified by the Supplier and OB Engineering service team for the LTB opportunity, Business impact and Engineering project.
  • Create Last Time Buy Plan of record based on the business impact and monitor the inventory consumption to avoid inventory scrap.
  • Drive project with engineering on the complex PR through EPL or PPL.
  • Timely communication of project priorities in alignment with system business needs to the Product management leadership.
  • Monthly report to the stakeholders on the OB PR status.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in mechanical / automotive / electrical /industrial / production engineering with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Good experience in Product life cycle management (Obsolescence management) and strong program management skills and good experience/exposure to Electro-mechanical components.
  • Demonstrates sound business judgement acumen, with an ability to analyze business cases, analyze and optimize financial impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to create project plans, optimize resource allocation and prioritize across multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated skill in decision making and problem solving in the absence of complete or accurate data, with a bias towards action.
  • Excellent Presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry will be preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in engineering product development projects, preferably across multiple geographies.
