Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees Reverse Logistics activities with Customer Service Ops, Fields Service Ops, Regional Reverse Logistics Team
  • Perform analysis related to Spares Returns Order Processing, Lam’s Reverse Logistics Management System in SAP (RAMS), Lam’s Quality Defect Reporting System (iQMS) and SAP Material Master.
  • Process & Troubleshoot SAP transactions to resolve issues with Return Orders in SAP   
  • Drive Process Improvement in Worldwide Returns Program
  • Work with Business System Analysts on required SAP changes and/or testing
  • Analyze reports and metrics for deviation from plan, reconcile data variances and use that information to guide the identification of root cause and execution of corrective action activities to deliver system capability and improvement. 
  • Works with Regional Users to understand gaps, conducts root cause and corrective actions to drive closure to the gaps.
  • End to End Management of the Returns and Reverse Logistics processes, own and ensure global KPI’s are met.
  • Generate report and data from SAP, analyzes and use information to identify root cause, suggest corrective & preventive actions to reduce repeat issue’s and improve process efficiency.
  • Coordinates repair activities with planning and/or engineering departments to repair / replace inventory at an effective cost and timely manner.
  • Supports Annual Operating Plan initiatives for Global Spares and is actively involved in continuous improvement efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 12-16 years
  • Job Experience: Minimum 12 years working experience in any of the following areas: Experience working in a multinational high technology corporation in the areas related to operations, reverse logistics, repair operations, planning, forecasting, inventory management
  • Educational: Typically requires a minimum of years of related experience with a Bachelor’ s degree in Engineering or MBA (Supply Chain/Operations)
  • Help coordinate & manage Spare Parts Returns Management from Field Service Engineers & Customers.  Assists with Business Process Documentation for Reverse Logistics Team & maintains Key Performance Indicators. Works with Field Service Engineer, Customer Service, Reverse Logistics Teams to ensure timely management of Spare Parts part return from Field Service Engineers & Customers. Works with Regional Depot & Warehouse Personnel to ensure timely processing of Spare Parts Return.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing processes in any of the areas related to inventory management, reverse value chain, logistics with natural flair for problem-solving, related to process and SAP etc.
  • Demonstrated ownership with regards to KPI’s for his/her respective function, including RCCA for misses. Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP MM/SD (Backend RAM Tables), MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS access, Visio, SharePoint, Project), use of dashboards to manage process.
  • High level of stakeholder’s interfacing skills across regions, effective listener, professional and courteous, need to be able to escalate effectively when required
  • High energy, strong work ethic, adaptive, able to meet tight deadlines without much supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with statistical techniques and lean six sigma methodology to help analyze, document and improve business processes with sustained results
