Software Engineer Apps 4 (Angular Manager)

Job Responsibilities

•    Manage team with a mix of leads and individual contributors to develop end to end application solutions (UI, API)
•    Conduct meetings with the team as a whole and in one-on-one platform.
•    Drive solution architecture design and development for web and desktop applications.
•    Develop, document, and implement technical architecture considering the optimal design patterns and best practices.
•    Design and develop frontend and backend APIs using Angular, Typescript, and/or NodeJS based API frameworks.
•    Perform analysis and development tasks independently.
•    Understand and disseminate requirements delivered.
•    Understand and assess requirements delivered by Product Owner.
•    Develop clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable application code.
•    Review and be accountable for the code developed by team meeting criteria of best practices in code quality. 
•    Implement unit, integration and e2e tests. 
•    Conduct performance reviews of team members and give them feedback, make promotion and salary recommendations.
•    Responsible for translating organization objectives to individual goals for team members and enable them to achieve the goals.
•    Perform organizational audits, create, and implement succession planning. 
•    Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and retaining the talent.
•    Mentoring and grooming key talents. Work with them to create their IDP’s based on their career aspirations and growth areas aligning with organization needs.
 

Minimum Qualifications

• Years of Experience: 12+ years on software development with 6+ years on Management.
  •    Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering 
•      Expertise in managing application development teams with specialization in developing solution architecture for integrated application suite. 
  o    Expertise in delivering web applications and front-end solutions.
  o    Application development exposure on Angular, NodeJS, Python, Flask API, Web services
  o    Expertise in design and implementation of solution and technical architectures for integrated web applications. 
  •    6-8+ years of experience in managing key individual contributors and project teams delivering design solutions for Web applications.
  •    Demonstrated ability to develop solution and technical architecture for web applications.
  •    Demonstrated knowledge on object-oriented design principles.
  •    Demonstrated knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, RxJS, CSS, Sass, and Angular V2/V4 +
  •    Strong proficiency with Angular, UI development and integration with Backend API.
  •    Demonstrated ability to develop team roadmap based on the needs of the organization. 
  •    Proficient in Agile methodology, process, and tools with familiarity on CI/CD Pipelines
  •    Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with multiple stakeholders. 
  •    Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to leadership teams. 
  •    Demonstrated leadership skill in decision making and problem solving. 
  •    This position is in Bangalore, India and you are expected to work at least 3 days a week from the office.
