Job Responsibilities

 

Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Other Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and qualify new software release/patch to Lam Customers
  • Write test cases and manually test new features
  • Work closely with Product Development group to get inputs on the product and approach to come up with test design and write test cases
  • Deploy automated test scripts
  • Automate test cases based on test plan using existing automation framework
  • Use debugging tools to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues
  • Respond to and resolve customer requests through emails, problem reports and discussion forums
  • Troubleshooting involves performing in-depth analysis of software logs, reproducing the issue on a simulator environment and debugging through code to identify the root cause
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure fast solutions delivered to the customer

Requires travel to customer sites for troubleshooting or SW Installation

Minimum Qualification

3-5years experince .

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/ Tele communication/ Information Science)
