Technical Program Manager, Program Lead

Eligibility Criteria

 

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience; or a PhD with 3+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Learn and develop basic strategies for discovering how Lam parts and products interact with a regulation and what data and process are needed to assure on-going compliance of Lam products to the requirements, become familiar with new terminology and basic requirements from a variety of technical regulations originating from various jurisdictions. 
  • Over-see the optimization of technical product offerings, processes, or programs, developing project plans, aligning teams, managing risk, and driving projects through release.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meets business requirements on time and within budget.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand process and system requirements, and deliver enhancements based on a changing technology and regulatory landscape.
  • Run Continuous Improvement projects, from inception to impactful results, and continuously monitor regulatory landscape in conjunction with regulatory experts and adapt programs accordingly.
  • Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process and inspire alignment.
  • Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintains long-term success.
  • Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Mandatory Skills required to performing the job

  • 6+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating leadership and influence skills to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.
  • Adept at reading regulatory texts directly and extracting relevant information from them

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.
  • Experience with real-world complex equipment design and manufacturing and related business and engineering tools, controls, and processes.
  • Previous experience in managing regulatory programs at a large semiconductor device manufacturer is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus. Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Expertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
