The Impact You’ll Make
As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects – you’re orchestrating breakthroughs in support of [insert strategic initiative]. You’ll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.

What You’ll Do
- Accountable for establishing a materials supply chain that meets the performance, cost, quality, capacity, and on-time-delivery requirements of Lam Research products
- Drive development of the Product Sourcing Strategy and Product Sourcing Plan to meet requirements for cost, quality and OTD
- Drive quoting, tracking, and coordination activities to meet program cost targets at piece-part, assembly, and module level. Tracks and reports material cost and CR roadmap for the program
- Escalate issues threatening cost targets or supply-chain objectives to the Program Manager and SBMs
- Coordinate activities to ensure new materials are sourced at approved production suppliers and the required first articles (FA) and Process of Records (POR) are complete prior to Beta Shipment.
- Ensure sourcing decisions are consistent with corporate supplier strategy while meeting the needs of the program; escalates to Program Manager if a conflict arises and drives CFT for conflict resolution
- Ensure capacity planning and execution at strategic suppliers in collaboration with SBM to meet forecast for select components and assemblies (PDR3403)
- Own and drives pilot-to-volume transition process for outsourced assemblies
- Own and drives critical parts sourcing with volume suppliers
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (EE or ECE only), with Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration with 8 -10 yrs of experience.
- Experience in Program management and Costing with Material Planning, supplier strategy, NPI material management.
- SAP or relevant ERP and its transactions in Planning, MM and Logistics module
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and SharePoint.
- Work Timings: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST (2:30 AM to 11:30 AM US time) as per business requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical background with experience in working with cross functional teams across the globe.
- Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
