Job Responsibilities

This position will be based in Bengaluru and will report directly to the Supplier Quality Manager in India. It involves close collaboration with supplier and global stakeholders, including those in Supply Chain, Product Group, and Manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to oversee our global Quality Assurance operations. The role is responsible for managing and executing audits, driving continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of Quality metrics across our global operations. 

Individual’s primary job responsibilities are listed below:

  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint for Lam ISO audits and customer audits, facilitating smooth internal and external ISO audits across all Lam factories and sites.
  • Ensuring proficiency in Supplier Quality systems, driving proactive improvements, and promptly addressing audit findings for compliance
  • Actively supporting FAIR/IQA/POR (like PPAP) to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Owning SET standards and training processes, ensuring adherence and continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to Digital Transformation (DT) initiatives to enhance efficiency and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mech/Prod/Automobile/industrial Engineering. Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience/master’s with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Certified Lead auditor for ISO 9001 with hands on experience in performing internal/external audits as well as facing customer audits.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive improvements.
  • Experience in Program management for FAIR/IQA/POR (like PPAP) processes to solve various issues promptly reported by factory and cross functional teams.
  • Proficient in SharePoint administration, particularly in maintaining and updating audit-related documentation and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in digital transformation of QMS audit and IQA functions.
  • Certified in Six Sigma with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop best practices (BKMs) to improve processes in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience in using MS Office tools (Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel, Project), statistical tools (JMP, Minitab), and SAP for quality management.
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL Coding
