The Impact You’ll Make

At Lam, as an Accountant, you're central to managing and enhancing our accounting systems. With a keen eye for detail, you interpret financial reporting requirements, balance the books, and ensure accuracy of profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements. Your expertise extends to monthly report generation, supporting informed decision making. You contribute to Lam's financial accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Do

Singapore Statutory Accounting & Reporting

 Manage the end to end annual statutory audit exercise. This includes but not limited to coordinating the annual field audit, preparation of audit schedules, resolution of audit queries, finalizing the financial statements for sign off, with the required board resolution to timely statutory filing.

Support monthly and quarterly financial close accounting analysis and entries.

Support SOX and internal audits as require.

Support projects e.g. Digital Transformation involving accounting in systems testing and execution, as applicable.

Accounts Receivables Collection

Follow up on outstanding AR invoices and ensure timely collection.

Address AR collection issue and work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to manage and resolve issues.

Provide payment details and ensure that it is properly posted and accounted for in accounts receivable ledger

FPA

Take charge of the twice a quarter Forecasting and Annual Operating Plan process for operating expenses (OPEX).

Prepare and issue templates for forecast inputs collection. Required to work closely with operation teams, to ensure forecast is uploaded timely and accurately. 

Perform variance analysis comparing between forecasts, and with actuals as applicable. Prepare forecast submission package and support forecast reviews as applicable.

Accountable for period closing analytics of OPEX.

Required to work closely with operation teams, to ensure forecast is uploaded timely and accurately.

Support systems enhancement projects in OPEX forecast.

Others

Undertake streamlining projects and initiatives involving systems improvement, reporting improvement.

Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor

Who We’re Looking For

Accounting or Finance Degree; or Professional Certification ACCA/CA/CPA

At least 7 years of Finance / Accounting/ Opex Forecasting experience

Experience in supporting business finance operations (billing, AR collection, opex management etc.)

Good knowledge of US GAAP and Singapore FRS. 

Experience in supporting business operations.

Experience in opex process including forecasting.

Good in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Good working knowledge of SAP (ECC) preferred.
