The Impact You’ll Make

At Lam, as an Accountant, you're central to managing and enhancing our accounting systems. With a keen eye for detail, you interpret financial reporting requirements, balance the books, and ensure accuracy of profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements. Your expertise extends to monthly report generation, supporting informed decision making. You contribute to Lam's financial accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare monthly close entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly consolidation/elimination related entries (USGAAP/IFRS)
  • Execute SAP system process tasks such as remeasurements and consolidation process
  • Perform intercompany variance analysis
  • Assist others within the organization on intercompany issues
  • Prepare internal, external, and compliance-related financial reports and schedules (USGAAP/IFRS)
  • Support the internal finance organization and external auditors
  • Maintain compliance with defined SOX 404 controls
  • Assist with acquisition integrations
  • Assist with other ad hoc projects as required
  • Collaborate with team members on automating existing analysis/process
  • Creation of desktop procedures/job aids
  • Blackline maintenance
  • SAP maintenance

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a skilled and motivated accountant within our Global Consolidations and Control team. Our organization currently consolidates dozens of subsidiaries under US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles, including certain subsidiaries that do their day-to-day accounting outside of our corporate ERP system. You will work with teammates located in the US, Malaysia and India.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or MIA equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of public accounting or progressive industry experience
  • Requires strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • System aptitude (SAP experience preferred--knowledge of S4 Hana helpful, Alteryx and Excel experience helpful)
  • Experience with US GAAP and IFRS related to consolidated financial statements
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills needed
  • Self-motivated with a bias for action with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Must be flexible, organized, and able to work under time constraints

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
