Job Responsibilities

  • Project manage customer specific capital equipment systems based on requirements defined by sales and engineering to meet the customer's requirements.
  • Review and implement customer specific requirements (Non-Standard Requests(NSRs)) for completeness, feasibility, and accuracy.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering efforts to meet the production requirements of customer specific systems.
  • Review and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) on sales order specific Bills of Materials.
  • Develop and maintain configuration logic which translates customer requirements into BOM part numbers required for factory execution.
  • Support material forecasting processes
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure order configuration changes are communicated and executed to both the factory and suppliers as necessary.

 

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross functional teams to resolve issues on the production floor for both in house builds and remote factory builds
  • Facilitate the development of product structures and bills of materials
  • Conduct reviews of configuration and engineering documentation
  • Participate in the selection of product configuration items
  • Analyze current inventories and coordinate disposition
  • Assemble cross-functional project teams from the necessary disciplines throughout Operations to develop new or re-engineer existing planning, inventory, or configuration related processes to eliminate waste and non-value added activity. 
  • Perform Product Option Architecture validation testing to ensure configuration accuracy through developing and executing test scripts and documenting results.
  • Plan new product introductions, including review and update of new BOMs, determine planning cut-in dates for build verification transition to volume production.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering with a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Ability to successfully interact with and coordinate across diverse parts of the organization, technical and non-technical
  • Experience with Hardware Configuration / Product Management
  • Experience with MRP system planning, ordering, and scheduling materials, preferably using SAP, preferred
  • Experience in production/manufacturing environment preferred
  • Computer literate including MS Office suite, e-mail, Windows, Explorer
  • Knowledge of Bill of Material structures and ECO/ECN process
  • Knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
