Job Responsibilities

 

The candidate will be responsible supporting Manufacturing, Production Control, Logistics, and Engineering teams through the creative and intelligent deployment of analytics and data. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining KPIs and metrics dashboards, querying and processing existing data, and using data and analytics to understand business processes and recommend solutions. The candidate will also be expected to support Lam’s continuous improvement efforts by recommending how data can be collected and used to improve business systems and performance.

Other Job Responsibilities

 

  • Query and process data and present analytical results to various stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain KPIs and metrics dashboards tracking manufacturing and business performance.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across a variety of different functional roles.
  • Use data and analytics to highlight gaps, recommend solutions, and identify opportunities.
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts using data and analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineer, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or relevant quantitative field. Candidate with Master qualifications or research experience a strong plus.
  • Strong background in statistical methods and analysis.
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of database systems and SQL queries.
  • Programming/coding experience - Python, R, or similar. Should have a strong programming background and be comfortable using scripting languages to process data and present results.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems, lean manufacturing, Kanban, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.
