Optimal Inventory Management is a competitive advantage for Lam and an essential part of the service to our consumers.  We are looking for an individual to deliver inventory optimization, inventory forecasting processes, drive end to end inventory health that align with our financial plans, marketplace objectives, and network investments.

What You’ll Do

  • Accountable to drive inventory optimization to maximize factory output, and profitability
  • Partner and actively collaborate with multiple key stakeholders from Finance, Inventory management, Sales Operations, Order Fulfillment, Logistics, and Supply Chain
  • Ensure forecast accuracy, including managing the monthly, end to end inventory forecast process
  • Strategic thinking, drive and influence decisions to improve inventory metrics and profitability
  • Utilize analytics to create global factory forecast models, interpret trends, and drive decisions
  • Deliver and develop metrics to influence purchase decisions and consumptions of Inventory
  • Create advanced data management solutions
  • Drive long term strategy to align with customer needs, factory optimization, and profitability
  • Deliver Inventory Management Reports and month end actuals and Close processes

Who We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain or a related field, MBA/CPA preferred
  • 5-6 years’ experience in Finance, Inventory Management and Planning, Supply Chain.  Strong fundamentals in Finance and inventory management
  • Proven aptitude to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Key understanding of ERP/MRP systems.  SAP Experience Preferred.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
