The Impact You’ll Make

Functions as a generalist in a variety of Human Resources activities. Typically serves in an organization where specialists are not fully deployed. Responsibilities may include a multitude of activities. May screen resumes and applications and may interview applicants. May counsel employees concerning work-related problems and conduct termination interviews, providing feedback to management when necessary. Supports company’s diversity initiatives and may maintain records for EEO and affirmative action reporting requirements. Writes position descriptions, benefit brochures and employee handbooks. Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects. May assist in the formulation of compensation objectives, manpower goals, performance management, personnel policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Partner with business functions as an expert on HR policies and processes.
  • Provide support and advice to all users on HRIS (Employee Connect). Administering the employee lifecycle transactions including but not limited to hire, personal and organization data changes, transfer and leavers processes. Auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Full employee life cycle management, managing the entire onboarding and offboarding process. This includes the pre-hire logistics support, preparation of the New Hire Getting Started Guide, receiving and welcoming the new hires on Day 1 and co-ordinating New Employee Orientation.
  • Employee medical and insurance support including SOCSO claim processing.
  • Talent Development operational support. This includes enrollment co-ordination, on-site training logistics support, training attendance tracking, training evaluation and maintaining training records in Learning Management System. Other responsibilities include managing all HRDF claim application, follow-up and fund disbursement.
  • Support both internal and external audit activities, including data audit.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion of HR processes. Re-engineer existing processes to streamline and develop changed processes to obtain optimal operational efficiency.
  • HR reporting and analysis derived from varying data sources.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s in business administration or equivalent
  • Degree holder : 2 to 3 years of relevant experience handling full spectrum of human resource activities
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite which includes MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SuccessFactors will be an advantage

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
