Manufacturing IT Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Manufacturing:
   • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OT systems and equipment in the manufacturing environment.
   • Collaborate with production teams to optimize the performance of OT systems.
2. Sustaining the OT System:
   • Maintain and sustain OT systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
   • Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of OT hardware and software.
   • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
3. Cybersecurity Certification:
   • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and certifications relevant to OT systems.
   • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect OT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
   • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
4. Planning and Setup:
   • Plan and execute the setup of new OT systems and infrastructure.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of OT systems with existing processes.
   • Develop and document standard operating procedures for the setup and maintenance of OT systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supporting manufacturing operations and OT systems.
• Strong logical and analytical skills.
• Ability to demonstrate baseline security skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
