The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

 

The candidate will be responsible for Fixture readiness/maintenance on Manufacturing, resolving any manufacturing fixture issue - quality and safety. The ideal candidate is someone with engineering experience at a semiconductor fab, who is very familiar with capital equipment fixturing.

 

 

The Impact You’ll Make

  • In this position, as Fixture Manager you will lead a team of engineers to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of fixtures from small up to large and heavy fixtures depending on the manufacturing complexities. Drive fixture qualification and deployment for new products and manufacturing production activities. Drive new designs for manufacturability and makes recommendations to design engineering on manufacturability (DFMA) improvements. Provide technical expertise and risk assessment to improve product manufacturability, drive innovative fixturing solutions and manufacturer’s selection. Drive effective calibration, fixtures inventory system, preventive and maintenance procedures.
  • You will work across global organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

  • Experience with vacuum, pressure control, Temperature Control, RF and gas delivery systems.
  • Has a working knowledge of SAP functions for manufacturing. Excellence knowledge in 3D models – NX Software applications, Engineering Drawings and understand GD&T.
  • Experience in Forecasting, Raise and Manage Capital Expenditure and Operational Expenditure cost to meet Factory Operational Excellence on target.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering; >10 years working experience in design and manufacturability knowledge.
  • Creative thinking and strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities, ideally including experience in the areas of electro/mechanical assemblies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for purposes of teaching, investigating, and influencing team members and stakeholders up to and including internal and external executives.
  • Excellent knowledge in Etch and Semiconductor capital equipment. PCBA and component life cycle management: Specification, Manufacture, Assembly, Test/Inspection, and Sustaining
  • Experience using 3D modelling software such as Creo or NX
  • Experience in Manufacturing Tool Asset Management will be an added advantage.
