Production Planner/Master Scheduler 2

Short Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Planner to join our team. The Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient production process by coordinating with various departments, monitoring production schedules, and managing inventory levels. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure manufacturing and warehouse loading are on time and closely monitor material availability.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Monitor the production process to minimize delays and ensure deadlines are met.
- Analyze production specifications data to maximize production output.
- Review and adjust schedules as needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
- Maintain and manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production.
- Create and submit status and performance reports, collating and interpreting data on the production plan’s progress.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skill
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior planners.
