The Impact You’ll Make

Lam Research Malaysia is looking for a System Project Manager. This is an individual contributor role reporting into the department manager.

What You’ll Do

• Drive operations to revenue and shipping requirements
• Provide committed ship dates to Sales operations and communicate impact of change request
• Identify risks, gating items, and regular shipment updates
• Track production plan to commit
• Manage and communicate any changes in system delivery schedule
• Manage and communicate any issues in meeting configuration change requirements
• Provide direction to change requests to planning team
• Provide priority for delivery requirements to Supply Chain Management
• Prioritize constrained material and align with stakeholders on the allocation
• Manages backorder creating and tracking and reporting
• Participate on cross functional team meeting to resolve issues on the production floor
• Manages post shipment escalations (if any)

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

•  Minimum 5~8 years’ experience in Production Planning and Project management.
• MRP skill required (SAP experience preferred)
• Direct experience leading cross functional teams 
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Project management skill preferred
• Semiconductor industry background preferred (Semiconductor Fab Process Equipment and complicated BOM Configuration knowledge)
• Sales management experience is acceptable.
• Experience working in a dynamic, and fast paced business environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline 

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
