The Impact You’ll Make
As a Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes. systems. documentations and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). Your expertise will help in ensure factory is always in compliance to ISO9001 standards and requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing & conducting assessment / line audit to assess QMS effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. (Includes Cleanroom protocol, ESD control, Legal requirements, ISO 9001 standards, etc.).
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Responsible for writing/revised procedures and processes to support development of QMS.
- Identify opportunities of improvement, developing training material for new processes and procedures (QMS related), as well as providing support for training events.
- Monitoring and analyzing assessment / line audits results and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve QMS issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and mitigate risks.
- Participating in internal and external audits and customer audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting in addressing any findings or observations.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on quality standards, regulations, and requirements applicable to the organization’s products or services.
- Supporting other QMS-related activities and initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in leading Quality Management System, involved in both internal & external ISO9001 audits.
- Experience working in clean room environment.
- Independent, resourceful and able to work across departments and in global level.
- High competency in analyzing problems and developing improvements to overcome them.
- Have continuous improvement mindset and approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor / internal auditor. Hands on experience in ISO 9001:2015 internal audit and process and line audit.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
