Job Summary
We are recruiting a Sr. Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Lam’s Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) organization. Within GSCM, Supply Chain Planning encompasses the areas of supply network planning, materials planning, inventory planning and constrained capacity planning. This role will work closely with Supply Chain business process owners, end users, and GIS Enterprise Applications. The ideal candidate’s background will demonstrate an ability to partner with business & technology teams and implement scalable processes and tools to address their needs.
Responsibilities
- Apply broad functional and fundamental knowledge of supply chain planning, execution, and fulfillment processes to support company-wide supply chain transformation programs
- Partner with Supply Chain stakeholders to evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Drive thought leadership to model and implement new processes and tools in response to rapid business growth
- Assist project management with execution of all project milestones: requirements gathering (blueprint), design (functional spec and prototyping), testing (user acceptance testing), training/documentation (roll-out), and cut-over
- Architect and analyze solution options that meet business requirements and maximize business benefit
- Support business units with analyzing and troubleshooting complex business problems and delivering scalable and automated system/technical solutions
- Work with other BSAs on cross-functional projects impacting Supply Chain and Global Operations, broadly
- Offer deep expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse (Maestro) that combines domain/functional (advanced supply chain planning) with architectural/technical (Kinaxis & execution/SAP ECC & SAP S/4 system) knowledge
- Strong functional knowledge with workbook development, configurations, and control tables/sets in Kinaxis RapidResponse
- Able to put on multiple hats: Business Analyst, Data Analyst, System Analyst and communicate effectively to a diverse audience, including leadership, to articulate complex planning scenarios, trade-offs, and its impact to business
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years Supply Chain Planning & Simulation solution space, with at least three years of end user and/or 2+ full lifecycle implementation of Kinaxis RapidResponse
- Proven track record of implementing and supporting custom extensions to out-of-the-box planning solutions
- Comfortable working with large data sets and querying language like SQL is a plus
- Experience managing small to medium sized projects and/or providing a key contributor role on medium to large sized business projects
- Strong documentation skills for project deliverables, like functional specifications, solutions assessment matrix, etc.
- Experience in complex business process re-engineering
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience working with consultants both in support and projects space
- Ability to configure Kinaxis RapidResponse, workbook authoring & scripts development
- Experience in software development and database query tools
- Strong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple and often competing issues at the same time
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or with limited direction
- Preference to have a candidate with experience in a Configure To Order organization
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with integration of Kinaxis RapidResponse with SAP ECC or other execution systems via Talend is preferred

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
