Key Roles and Responsibilities
Network Services
- Infrastructure Management: Ensuring smooth operation of network devices (SD-WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Collaboration: Working with global teams, vendors, and ISPs to address issues and optimize performance.
- Maintenance: Managing IDFs, MDFs, bay switches, UPS, and IoT devices.
- Incident Response: Handling incidents related to campus infrastructure, including POS and security systems.
Compute Services
- Device Health: Maintaining physical health of compute devices (WSSD, storage, backup).
- Data Center Management: Overseeing data center operations and compute services.
- Resource Management: Ensuring sufficient memory and storage for backup and storage equipment.
- Security and Updates: Collaborating on server vulnerabilities, setting up VMs, and maintaining servers with updates and patching.
Logistics Operation/Automation
- IT Support: Addressing IT issues impacting logistics and warehouse processes.
- Device Management: Configuring and maintaining autoID devices and automation devices.
- Inventory and Maintenance: Managing device inventory and performing preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshooting: Providing first-level troubleshooting for automated systems and securing IT infrastructure for 3PL.
Additional Responsibilities
- On-Call Support: Being available for critical IT issues outside regular hours.
- Coordination and Presentation: Representing business units in forums and managing vendor relationships.
- Procurement: Procuring IT equipment for refreshment or new setups.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field. >5 years working experience
Proven experience in supporting logistics operation, networking systems and compute related services.
Strong logical and analytical thinking and execution skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and technical related skills
Ability to adapt to change and unpredictable circumstances
Strong knowledge in networking, managing technology tools and network servers and firewall knowledge with hands-on experience
Enthusiastic and willing to learn in a fluid and fast-paced environment
Has CCNA certification. CCNP or any equivalent is a plus

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
