The Impact You’ll Make
Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma).
Job Responsibilities
- This position performs supplier development, program/project management, cross-functional team alignment functions for key initiatives in the Supplier Engineering and Technology (SET)
- Group SET is a global organization that innovates in manufacturing technology, materials technology, and supply chain quality for next-generation semiconductor process equipment.
- Developing Suppliers to meet Lam quality standards.
- Interfacing with key teams within Lam including technical product groups, account teams and global operations as a representative of SET.
- Influencing decisions and company driven objectives within internal and external groups to achieve company goals.
- Provide seamless interface with SET global commodity heads to account teams and other members of SET.
- Providing leadership to supplier engineers within Lam as a cross-functional team leader
- Organizing and owning internal and external Review Meetings
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in managing technical programs and projects, preferably in the Semiconductor Industry managing Suppliers for Machining (CNC) and Fabrication.
- Experience specific to Aluminum & Stainless Steel will be an added advantage.
- Experience with SPC, proficient at capability study, understanding CPK, control limits.
- Extensive experience in Machine qualification, health monitoring techniques.
- Understanding of machining processes.
- Experience solving complicated problems and project management, for instance 8D and others
- Proficient in written and verbal communication (English)

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
