Supply Chain Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• This position will have significant experience in delivering objectives and supporting Lam Manufacturing Malaysia.
• This position requires to maintain/enhance the existing shortage reports via Power Query and Excel
• He/she will represent Supply Chain in Source Code review on decision in changing material type.
• This position also covers shortage management including follow up with suppliers on incoming/past due deliveries, execute sell back process to mitigate component shortage, identify gating material, supports expediting key material to meet manufacturing and customer delivery dates
• He or she requires to work with internal supply chain team consists of Buyers, Supply Business Managers, Strategic Commodity Managers to find all possible solutions to mitigate etc. material allocation priority, Problem Report status  change, sell back, de-kit option.
• The person will act as interface to cross functional team consists of manufacturing, order fulfillment, logistics, engineering to ensure the manufacturing production and customer delivery are meet.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Ability to explore existing data from multiple sources and recommend new reporting to help on decision making process.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity.
• Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies and coordinate root cause corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or 1 year experience in any related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, Power BI and Power Query
• Preferably Data Science/Computer Science graduate
• Good English command and ability to work with other cross functional team or other countries.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
