SET (Supplier Engineering & Technology)

Job Summary

• This position offers a leadership role in technical troubleshooting and provide engineering solutions to Remote Factories (RF) manufacturing Lam Products. The candidate will manage program or project and drive cross functional team alignment functions for key initiatives in SET (Supplier Engineering & Technology) group.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop Suppliers to meet Lam quality standards 
• Design, develop and implement cost-effective methods of testing, troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. 
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. 
• Work with internal & external stakeholders to influence decisions and drive company objectives.
• Perform project management and cross functional team alignment functions for key initiatives in SET (Supplier Engineering & Technology) group.

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• Engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science).
• 5 years’ experience in Test Engineering/Development environment with in-depth knowledge of TestStand, LabView, C#, Python or other scripting languages.
• Understand control systems in process automation (preferably gas delivery system) & serial communication protocols (Device Net, Ethercat, RS 485, RS 232).
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and proficient in electrical circuit testing & troubleshooting. 
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills with proven track record in managing technical projects.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals.
