Job Responsibilities
Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses. Employees at the highest levels typically have Six Sigma Black Belt or Master certification.
Other Job Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders and CFTs to increase proliferation of sales maintained quote driving planning BOMs to forecast records
- Engage with CFTs for automation of applying dynamic planning BOMs to forecast records via ACQ/quotes; would provide insight and focus on new capability development
- Align with supply chain partners to ensure greater accuracy for process module part planning and outsourced module primary and sub-tier detailed planning
- Enable non-standard requested parts are added to forecast records
- Track metrics of forecast material accuracy and coverage and help drive initiatives and focus on high value targets
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization.
- Track record of accountability, problem solving, strong analytical skill and critical thinking skills.
- Hands on experience in SAP environment.
- Good understanding in MRP planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 - 8 years related experience, preferably working in lean manufacturing environment
- Master Scheduling experience in a technology company
- Good team player in working with cross functional teams
- Good understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics processes
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
