Job Responsibilities

Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Physical quality inspection against Lam Drawings/Specifications. Supports Lam Spares Reverse Logistics Team with SAP inventory transactions for write-on, write-off, reconfiguration and returns processing. Assists with Business Process Documentation for Reverse Logistics Team & maintains Key Performance Indicators.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Perform Physical Quality Inspection of Parts, execute SAP transactions related to Returns Order Processing, Lam’s Reverse Logistics Management System in SAP (RAMS), Lam’s Quality Defect Reporting System (iQMS) and SAP Material Master
• Day to Day (or Weekly) Activities include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Physical Quality Inspection of Returned Materials from Customers
  • SAP inventory transactions
  • Working w Planning, Purchasing, Master Scheduling Groups to fill orders  
• Analyze reports and metrics for deviation from plan, reconcile data variances and use that information to guide the identification of root cause and execution of corrective action activities to deliver system capability and improvement.  Works with Regional Users to understand gaps. Conducts root cause and corrective actions to drive closure to the gaps

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in high technology corporation, in quality inspection, warehouse operations or inventory control roles.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Proficiency in SAP Inventory Management and Warehouse Management Modules
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access desired but not required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability and skill set to analyze, document and improve business processes with sustained results
• High level of customer interfacing skills and able to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a global team
