Job Responsibilities

Quality Technician prepare reports and summarize findings related to non-conformance and defect encounter while conducting product pre-shipment audit and final source audit. This role may also assist in identifying deficiencies, non-conformance in product/processes/procedures and escalate quality issues, ensuring quality are met. (Responsibilities may vary depending on level)
 

• Final source audit and Pre-shipment audit referring to drawings and OMS procedures in Cell fusion.
• Draft, register and update procedures into Cell fusion and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assembly.
• Perform the final source audit with required fixtures (Eg. Measure resistance/continuity/voltage by using digital multi-meters, leak test verification.)
• Compile quality report and compliance evidence for traceability purpose and shipping approval propose.
• Conduct verification on corrective action of non-conformance issues internal (NCi's) and ensure closure of the NCi.  
• Escalate to appropriate individuals / departments on quality issues encountered as needed.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Support production on measurement equipment calibration matter.
• Candidate must able to work in cleanroom environment.  
• Participate in internal audit, external audit and quality circle and continuous improvement activities. 
• Ensure Final Source Audit and Pre-Shipment Audit accordingly to meet production shipment schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in electronics, engineering, applied sciences or equivalent. Prefer experience in quality related field.   
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality standards requirements.
• 1 to 6 years of semiconductor capital equipment industry will be added advantage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards.
