Position Summary:

This position is responsible to support Account GM to achieve account business objectives. Build up and maintain good business partnership and relationship for customer trust.



Primary Responsibilities:



Business Impact

(e.g. strategic focus, decision-making authority)


Customer Trust

  • Improve customer relationship and trust level with key business decision makers
  • Manage customer meetings working with BD/BM/PG
  • Work with CTO/PG groups for all TRMs; CSBG for all ERMs


Focus on business development and improvement for strategic account business objectives

  • Own strategic account business planning
  • Own primary responsibility to create and align penetration and defense objectives with CTO, BD and PGs
  • Deliver market share objectives with SPS(Strategic Product Strategy) plan aligned with BD and PGs
  • Focus on forecast booking, revenue and shipment business with achieving operational objectives
  • Manage product Gross Margin with the corporate target


Financial Management

(e.g. financial/budgetary responsibilities, Impact on revenue/expenses)

Manage and implement the corporate business procedure for product booking/revenue/shipment

  • Through CRM and regular forecast update with market overview, periodically update booking/revenue/shipment forecast for upper management and relative operation departments with opportunity & risk analysis
  • Improve business operation process with planning developments and procedures.


People Management & Organizational Development

(e.g. span of control, people management)

  • Review and Revise organization structure for more effectiveness
  • Manage Sales team and closely communicated with BD/PG to improve Sales team capability
  • Develop capability and ability of Sales Team


Report Structure & Work Relationship

  • Direct report to account GM
  • Cross functionally work with CSOMs and Technology Directors




Position Qualifications:


Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field



Professional Experience

  • 15+ years experience in semiconductor industry


Skills Required

  • Strong customer orientation
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to two-year time span
  • Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level
  • Technical skills in engineering and management, quality assurance, and costing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
  • Full understanding and ability to implement Lam Business processes
  • Business ethics & integrity

Valued but not required skills and experience

  • MBA
  • Experienced in value engineering and lean manufacturing environment
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Chinese and/or Japanese language
