Job Responsibilities

Metryx was formed with a view to bringing a significant change to semiconductor measurement technology. Our innovative metrology utilizes the simplest of measurement parameters and the very basics of physics – everything has a mass and undergoes mass change during processing. By understanding a wafer's mass and how it changes as the wafer goes through a manufacturing process, chipmakers can save an exceptional amount of time and wasted wafer runs - all at a fraction of the cost of existing metrology solutions.

The position is responsible for the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfilment of products, materials, parts, spares, supplies and equipment. Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing and records, customs duties, taxes and controls, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Check goods received/for distribution against purchase orders or invoices; maintain records of goods and reject unsatisfactory items
  • Organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information
  • Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges
  • Kit parts for manufacturing and spares build on instruction from Planning
  • Processes material orders within Sage to support standard and expedited requirements
  • Identify, label, receive materials and supplies into stock and record location of inventory
  • Compliance with relevant Import/Export control legal requirements
  • Liaison with packing and shipping companies/couriers
  • Build finished and sub-assembly goods within Sage
  • Assist in developing logistics plans and procedures
  • Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation
  • All other activities deemed necessary by the company to complete the required tasks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Full clean UK driving licence essential
  • Familiarity with Sage 200 system would be beneficial 
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Promote and enforce the company’s Health and Safety Policy 
  • Promotion of Continuous Improvement in all matters
  • Awareness of personnel structure
  • Compliance with company requirements
