Safety Engineer

Job Responsibility

At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, etc. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial safety compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance

What You’ll Do

rain/guide daily safety cycle including risk assessment
Develop safety/health training plan and implement it accordingly
Conduct safety patrol, propose correction of unsafe condition/act
Develop/implement response system for accidents, emergency, etc.  
Support operation of Occupational Health and Safety Committee
Respond to clients for health and safety related matters

Attend Customer S&H Committee & performance meeting & special meeting & safety training (Monthly & Quarterly & as needed) 
Fab Safety inspection & audit with customer’s EHS (Weekly & Monthly & Quarterly)
Joint risk assessment with customer for specific tools & high-risk activities 
Verification that safety guard & patrollers are properly performing their roles
Conduct an internal audit & inspection to ensure engineers(inc. LSPs) are properly complying with EHS regulations & customer requests

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree and 5 ~ 7 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

National industrial safety engineer certificate

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
