The Impact You’ll Make

 

Plans and implements projects that support the sales organization.  Assists sales organization in providing technical and administrative product information.  Works with market research team to ensure market analysis data is used for quoting customer prices.  Prepares the distribution of accounts to the Sales Representatives and updates the automated tracking system, such as CRM.  Coordinates with Sales Representatives to provide sales documentation and satisfy customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

1. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Rapidus Account GM, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. 

2. Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. 

3. Project Assistance: Assist in the planning and execution of projects and initiatives led by the Rapidus Account GM. 

4. Document Management: Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation related to the Rapidus account. 

5. Communication and Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the Rapidus Account GM and internal/external stakeholders. 

6. Event Planning: Assist in planning and organizing events, such as team-building activities, client meetings, and corporate functions. 

7. Financial Administration: Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for the Rapidus account. 

8. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, company policies, and best practices in administrative support. 

9. Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Rapidus Account GM to support the overall success of the Rapidus account. 

Who We’re Looking For

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.

2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably in a multinational company. 

3. Language Skills: Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office productivity tools. 

5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

6. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

7. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate needs, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.

8. Cultural Competence: Understanding of Japanese business etiquette and cultural norms, as well as familiarity with American corporate culture.

9. Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 

10. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences between Japan and the USA.

11. Professionalism: High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
