Join Lam as an IT Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and implementing applications and systems that form the foundation of our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our IT team, you'll contribute your technical assistance and guidance to projects for various systems and infrastructures. Acting as a technical liaison, you'll address complex business problems with automated systems solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving Lam's commitment to innovation and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

 

*Technical Support for End Users: Capable of providing comprehensive technical support to end users, addressing a wide range of issues such as performing system updates, application installations and uninstallations, and troubleshooting various technical problems.

 

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP CRM: Experienced in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP CRM, ensuring seamless operation and support for these applications.

 

*Ticketing System Management: Skilled in using ticketing systems to track updates on progress, manage incidents, and operate within given Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

 

*Microsoft Intune and Onboarding Solutions: Proficient in using Microsoft Intune for onboarding assets and knowledgeable about other onboarding solutions to ensure smooth integration and management of IT assets.

 

*Network Support and Documentation: Able to provide local hands-on support for tasks such as patching network cables and updating documentation to maintain accurate records of IT infrastructure.

 

*Network and Firewall Infrastructure: Knowledgeable about network and firewall infrastructure, with experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar technologies to ensure secure and efficient network operations.

 

*Collaboration with Global Teams: Experienced in working with global teams and cross-functional departments, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of local issues and drive them towards resolution and mitigation.

 

*Active Directory Management: Proficient in working with Active Directory, performing tasks such as group membership management and user account management to maintain a secure and organized directory structure.

 

*VMware Experience: Proficient in working with VMware, including onboarding and managing virtual machines (VMs) to ensure efficient and effective virtualization solutions.

 

The candidate should exhibit strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing and resolving IT-related issues.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education

 

University degree in computer science or a related field, excellent English language skills.

 

• Minimum experience

 

Generally, requires a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting desktops/laptops and servers in a Microsoft operating system

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
