The Global Customer Operations Group brings industry insights and experience to help our customers deliver on their technology roadmaps. We work tirelessly to earn the trust of our customers, because we know that working closely together leads to the highest quality outcomes. 

 

The Impact You’ll Make

Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments; identifies volume and strategic customers; and develops partnerships. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations. May conduct make-versus-buy analysis from a partnership/merger/acquisition perspective.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial performance, customer value and trust leveraging multi-product deals
  • Prepare or oversee sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Support customer executive engagements
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers through objective alignments with customers and market analysis
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable sales and business development people 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience. Prefer Engineering, business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven successful business track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Travel 20-25% domestic and international
  • Experience in managing executive level communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. SAP)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred language skills: Mandarin Chinese Language

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

 

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $147,000.00 -  $311,000.00.

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
