The Impact You’ll Make

Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What You’ll Do

Track/monitor quarterly revenue & margin forecast for all systems and reliant. Work and develop productive relationships with various departments within the company including Finance, Sales operations, Regions, and Bus Development to ensure timely and accurate forecast of the company’s revenue. 
Identify override tool candidates as needed to reflect management forecast assumptions
Support forecast cycle (AKA “QXR”) presentation materials
Prepare week to week/QXR revenue bridges and maintain risks/opportunities listing, input overrides into forecast to align to company commit.
Drive quarter end close activities. Can include: 
•    Closely maintain margin modeling file 
•    Update Accounting for changes in forecast 
•    Run Actuals comparison to last forecast to ensure alignment iv) Run deferred revenue queries to ensure that all entries are appropriately in deferred and to understand timing of revenue
Research & address both Finance/non-Finance inquiries as needed
Drive Continuous Improvement Projects (incl. business design and enhancements of forecasting tools)

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years or equivalent experience.
Detail oriented w/knowledge of ASC 606 and Multi-Element Arrangement Accounting
Experience with SAP ECC, CRM, and BOBJ
Analytical skills (incl. Power BI, Excel pivot tables, formula writing, Power functions)
Passion to work on a global, diverse team with the ability to communicate effectively 
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to drive stakeholders to achieve targeted revenue and profitability

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
