Lam Research has an exciting opportunity to help guide our Digital Transformation. We are seeking a highly capable and pragmatic senior leader to manage Digital Transformation Program Operations. Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business process and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. Digital Transformation Operations Executive is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for past and future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry.

This role is a key member of the CIO staff and will work closely with key business stakeholders to realize tangible outcomes from the application of technology solutions to business challenges. The right candidate will have experience leading program execution in a complex, global environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the planning and execution of Lam's Digital Transformation Program. This includes core project management, financial accountability, partner management, and organizational change management workstreams.
  • Partner with business executives to provide clarity and accountability to program deliverables.
  • Integrate program execution into company management systems including workforce, financial, and strategic planning processes.
  • Build, develop, and lead the team charged to deliver program operations objectives.
  • Manage Transformation Partner (vendor) relationship including accountability for on-time delivery, quality, and compliance to contractual terms.
  • Administer and adapt program governance as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Master's degree in business, computer science, information systems, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of business or IT leadership experience with a direct responsibility for large transformation program execution.
  • Senior management experience in one or more of the following areas: strategic planning, leadership, business relationship management and business process management.
  • Hands-on experience constructing and operating enterprise-level programs with associated models and frameworks. Emphasis on lean, practical approaches.
  • Proven track record for project and program delivery. Exposure to structured project methodologies.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Strong leadership skills including agility and influence.
  • Excellent program management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of all components of an engineering, manufacturing, and services enterprise.
  • Strong skills in financial models and budgeting.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

 

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $204K -  $405K.

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
