  • Manage other attorneys and paralegals both internally and externally
  • Provide strategic support and partnership to various business units, including global supply chain, facilities, logistics, regional management and operations, information systems, human resources and finance
  • Provide transactional support and partnership to customer and product teams as needed
  • Contribute to developing and delivering processes and procedures for providing effective and efficient legal support
  • Provide timely and effective legal advice on a wide variety of corporate and commercial legal issues, including commercial law, intellectual property, data security, data privacy, antitrust law, product safety, and supply chain compliance
  • Oversee occasional litigation and provide litigation support
  • Domestic and international travel required


Essential Skills:

  • Have excellent English oral and written communication skills, so that you can discuss and explain complex technical and legal matters with legal and non-legal business partners and create high quality documents; similar skills in Korean or Mandarin language preferred
  • Be able to work successfully across time zones and cultures to support significant international operations and manage remote resources
  • Partner successfully with other business groups to achieve corporate objectives
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Successfully balance leadership, managerial and independent contributor work

  • J.D. or equivalent from a top law school 
  • California or Oregon bar membership
  • 10+ years of experience, including significant experience managing a team
  • Willing and able to travel internationally several times per year
  • Familiarity with Asian commercial law and practices, particularly Korean and Taiwanese
  • Strong software licensing, antitrust, cyber security and/or government contracts knowledge
  • Professional level Korean or Mandarin language preferred
  • Openness to possible relocation based on business need preferred
  • Background or experience in the semiconductor equipment and/or semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Technical or engineering background is a plus
  • Candidates of diverse backgrounds encouraged
